Partnerships Manager

All Locations, Business Development, Full-Time

About The Role

The Partnerships Manager’s role is to develop and nurture local or regional business partners with the objective of lead generation and member retention.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Create a systematic, process-driven approach to partner outreach and relationship management
  2. Identify and source partnership opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls, emails and client visits
  3. Research partners, identify key players and generate interest
  4. Collaborate with senior management and other marketing teammates to align our internal goals with new and existing partner relationships
  5. Negotiate and finalize deals in accordance with the company’s contract guidelines and policies
  6. Deliver a great experience to our partners when working with our organization - you will represent our brand and be our partners’ liaison internally
  7. Forecast, measure, and report the results of various projects with partners, including co-created and/or co-branded content promotions, lead sharing, and/or event partnerships
  8. Forge and maintain strong ongoing relationships with current partners and offer new ways to grow the partnership

Key Requirements

  1. Bachelors Degree or equivalent
  2. At least 5-8 years of events experience in a medium to high growth company
  3. Management experience necessary
  4. Marketing experience preferred
  5. Continuously seeking out opportunities to learn and improve
  6. Highly creative and able to formulate a unique vision for our communities and members
  7. Flexible and can adapt accordingly to newly formed organizations
  8. Keen attention to detail along with strong organizational and project management skills.
  9. Results driven with an ability to execute independently
  10. Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills
  11. Excellent organization skills and multi-tasking skills
